Expedition Crocodiles® feature an increased circumference that provides room for plastic boots and insulated pants. A hook and loop Cinch-Strap makes it possible to adjust this gaiter with mittens on, an important feature for cold-weather mountaineering. The outside of the leg section consists of Taslan Gore-Tex®, while the inner leg section is reinforced with 1000d Cordura®. Instep straps are riveted to the gaiter, with a removable loop that can be changed in the field.
