Fixe Rappel Rings are made from 11mm (about 3/8") rod stock and are T.I.G. welded. Whether used with conventional sling material or screwlinks and chain, Rappel Rings complete an effective Top Anchoring system. When climbing in the backcountry a Rappel Ring can make the difference when pulling your rope from that last rappel.

FIXE INOX is Stainless Steel hardware designed to be used for permanent installation in high traffic areas and extremely corrosive situations or rock types (such as canyoneering/ caving or beach front limestone). INOX bolts should be equipped with INOX anchor systems so that any oxidization will to be equally apparent on both bolts and hangers. Any "re-bolting" efforts should be done with INOX Anchor Systems. INOX does not mean that placements do not need to be inspected and replaced, but it increases the length of time an anchor will remain strong and safe.
Always Inspect Anchors!
Important Safety Note: The use of top anchors for top roping should be questioned. At many sport climbing areas the top anchors are used repeatedly for toproping. Visible wear can be seen and climbers still top rope directly from the top anchors. This is a Lazy Practice that should be stopped! It takes only moments for the leader to set up the top rope using quickdraws. This saves the anchors, saves time and money and it could even save someone's life! As the last climber, take the time to rappel verses being lowered down, rappelling will help save the anchors. Please help by setting an example.
