The Side-Swing D carbiner from Omega Pacific provides an extra-large gate opening of 1.4-inch (35 mm) in a large steel carabiner. The larger gate opening is an advantage for rescue systems, fall protection and rope access work when connecting to fixed anchor points that ohter large carabiners will not fit. Sleeve locks on the gate to prevent jamming.
