RETURNS
Contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning any merchandise for any reason. AHS Rescue is not responsible for merchandise returned without an RA number. Returned merchandise will be inspected and subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.

There will be absolutely no returns on rope, web, web products, or videos, unless the item was received in a damaged condition and an RA number request is received within 5 days of receipt of shipment.

On all other returns, an RA must be requested within 15 days of invoice date.

AHS Rescue Limited Warranty
AHS Rescue, L.L.C. warrants to the original purchaser that products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This express warranty and all implied warranties imposed by law are limited to one year duration from the date of original purchase. In the event of such a defect during the warranty period, AHS Rescue agrees, at its option, to repair or replace the product returned under warranty. This warranty does not apply to any damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper application or installation, or to any damage caused by any repair or attempted repair not authorized by AHS Rescue. No further warranties exist or are implied by AHS Rescue due to the high risks involved in rescue services, and in other activities including, but not limited to, mountaineering, rock climbing, rappelling, and caving, which risks can be reduced only through the skill, training, and judgment of the individual participant. This limited warranty excludes, and AHS Rescue shall not be liable for, any incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of the breach of the express or implied warranties on sales by AHS Rescue or otherwise. This limited warranty in no way limits or alters other manufacturers warranties on products that are sold or distributed by AHS Rescue. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts nor the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

AHS RESCUE ORDERING TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing an order the customer acknowledges agreement to the terms and conditions stated below and acknowledges having read and understood the important warnings. Found under (IMPORTANT WARNINGS) the customer further agrees that the laws of the state of Arizona shall apply to the purchase or any dispute arising therefore.

Important Note on Kit Contents: Photos are for demonstration purposes only. Newer products of improved design may be substituted at the sole discretion of AHS Rescue.

Payment-Payments shall be in the legal tender of the United States. Shipments may be held up to three weeks for the check to clear the bank. All fees incurred in collecting a past due account are the responsibility of the purchaser. A $20 service fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank.

Shipping-Delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to the customer. Visible damage should be reported to the carrier when the package is received. Notify AHS Rescue of any problems immediately. Claims reported more than 15 days after receipt may be denied.

Adult Signature Required on Deliveries-For liability reasons, AHS Rescue can only accept orders from adults. When an adult is making a purchase for a minor, it is the adult’s responsibility to determine that the ordered items are appropriate and that adequate education and supervision will be provided. Proof of age is required.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Many of the activities for which AHS Rescue products are used pose a very substantial risk of serious injury or death. Be certain you carefully review all of the following information.

Products manufactured and sold by AHS Rescue, L.L.C. Are intended for use by professionals trained and experienced in the use, inspection, and maintenance of these products. All individual using AHS products must have the same professional level and skill.

Technical rescue, rappelling, climbing, and the training involved are very hazardous activities. Each situation has its own unique conditions and must be evaluated by those present. Effective risk management comes from experience, proper training and good judgment.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY
AHS is not liable for any damages arising from abuse or improper use of the equipment, failure to follow adequate safety precautions, or breach of the duty of either the purchaser or user. Adequate training and judgment are needed to reduce the risks inherent in the use of this equipment. Since these risks are out of the control of AHS, the liability shifts to the user and purchaser.

DUTY OF PURCHASER AND USER
It is the responsibility of the purchaser and the user of products manufactured by any Co. Inc. to:

  • Read the product instructions and labels and follow them. If you do not have a copy of the instructions please request a copy from: AHS Rescue, L.L.C. 11649 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona 85020. Or call us at 1-800-964-1673.

  • Inspect the product immediately after purchase and before and after each use. Inspections should be performed by trained personnel. Read the note on inspection below.

  • Receive training in the proper use of the equipment and in the appropriate techniques. Proper training includes safety procedures, limitations of the equipment, inspection of equipment, and risk management. If you are not competent in the use of the product, do not use it. See the note on training below.

  • Determine if the product is suitable for its intended use and that it meets all applicable standards and regulations. The manufacture can provide assistance but cannot be expected to be knowledgeable of all worldwide standards and regulations.

  • Use good judgment and do not exceed the limitations of the user’s skill or of the equipment.

  • Use adequate safety precautions including belays and backup systems. Practice risk management at all times.

  • Do not alter the product in any way. Repairs must be done only according to the manufacture’s instructions or returned to the manufacturer for repair. Alterations may void warranty.

  • If the purchaser is not the user of the product, the purchaser must provide each user with a copy of this notice and the product instructions. If additional copies of this notice or the product instructions are needed, they can be obtained from AHS Rescue.

INSPECTION
Each department involved in rescue operations is expected to have a policy for inspecting high-angle life-support equipment. Inspection should be no less than after each use and inspections must be done by personnel that meet the department’s training standard for inspecting life-support equipment. Inspection dates should be recorded on a tag attached to the equipment or in the equipment log. Each user should be trained in equipment inspection and should do a cursory inspection before each use. 

MAINTENANCE
Keep nylon products away from acids, alkalis, exhaust emissions, high temperatures, rust, or strong chemicals. Dry before stowing. Do not dry in automatic dryer or direct sunlight. If used in rocky or abrasive terrain, check for excessive wear. The product should be retired if excessive wear is noted. Keep stowed when not in use.

TRAINING
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that user is adequately and competently trained in the use of the product. Training is available from several sources, including CMC Rescue School, Ropes That Rescue, and Rescue RIG. See Training Partners for schedule of disciplines. This web site includes a variety of reference guides to assist in the proper selection and use of the products.

WARNING

Rope and rescue activities are exceptionally hazardous activities which may result in severe injuries or death. Any person purchasing this equipment assumes the responsibility of seeking proper training in its use and also assumes all risk for any injury or damage sustained while using any of this equipment. This equipment is not to be used for any other purpose than manufacturer's intended use. Follow all directions and labels as indicated on the product.
